Amplitude, a leading AI analytics platform serving 4,700+ customers including Atlassian, Burger King, and NBCUniversal, is hiring its first People Operations Analyst in India. This is a remote role supporting the global People Operations team as a shared services resource.
You will own the HR helpdesk and shared services function, resolving Tier 1–2 employee inquiries through the ticketing system on behalf of EMEA and AMER regional teams. This includes handling policy questions, employment verifications, leave requests, and benefits inquiries. You'll triage complex issues to specialists (Benefits, Payroll, Legal, regional People Ops) with clear context and maintain response SLAs while flagging patterns to your team lead.
You'll keep Workday accurate by processing employee lifecycle transactions: job changes, compensation updates, terminations, leaves of absence, location changes, and new hire data entry. You'll conduct regular data quality checks, resolve discrepancies with regional teams and Payroll, and follow SOX offboarding controls.
You'll support global People Business Partners on request by handling administrative follow-through: pulling reports, tracking action items, prepping materials, and managing the operational layer. You'll assist with new hire onboarding coordination—background checks, IT provisioning, welcome logistics—and ensure clean handoffs between Talent Acquisition, IT, and the business.
As Amplitude's presence in India grows, you'll provide India-specific logistics support and assist with global employee programs and events as directed. Over time, as AI tooling and automation mature, this role will shift from transactional work toward process improvement projects, documentation, and shaping operational practices. You'll participate in piloting AI-assisted workflows and share feedback on friction points.
This role requires genuine self-direction: you'll be given clear priorities and good systems, but you'll own your own day. The ideal candidate thrives in structured work but is motivated by the promise of growing into higher-impact contributions.
