Datadog is seeking an experienced People Business Partner to support the EMEA region's rapidly scaling organization. This role bridges the People team and business leadership, providing strategic HR guidance while addressing day-to-day employee needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with leadership across business functions on people-related matters: performance management, career development, employee relations, compensation, organizational scaling, training, culture, D&I, and engagement
- Coach and advise managers on best practices in talent development, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness
- Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COE) to design and implement people programs that enhance employee experience
- Develop and refine people policies, guidelines, and programs in partnership with HR colleagues
- Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to support strategic people decisions
- Assess employee development needs and implement targeted solutions aligned with organizational strategy
- Handle complex global employee relations issues with sensitivity to local employment practices
You bring 5+ years of HRBP or related HR experience, ideally in fast-growing tech companies. You're skilled at balancing strategic program implementation with tactical day-to-day execution. You have strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with hands-on HRIS experience (Workday preferred). You're comfortable working across all organizational levels, from frontline employees to senior leadership. Your project management and organizational skills are exceptional, with a detail-oriented yet flexible problem-solving approach. You understand global employment practices and employee relations complexities. Your communication style is clear, direct, approachable, and friendly, with strong relationship-building abilities.
