Polymarket, the world's largest prediction market platform, is seeking its first People Business Partner to serve as the primary HR partner to a defined set of executives and their organizations. This is a foundational role where you'll define how the HRBP function operates at the company while it scales rapidly. You'll own HR decisions within your client groups autonomously rather than routing them upward. Key responsibilities include advising leaders on org design and headcount planning, owning performance management end-to-end including cycle facilitation and calibration, and coaching managers on performance issues with proper documentation. You'll manage employee relations intake, investigation, and resolution for your groups, partner on succession planning and high-potential identification, and serve as the change management partner for reorganizations and leadership transitions. Additionally, you'll run feedback cycles and engagement pulse checks, translating insights into actionable recommendations. You'll partner with the Head of People Experience to build scalable manager enablement programs that extend beyond your direct client groups. The ideal candidate has 5+ years as an HR Business Partner in tech, with proven experience coaching managers through performance management, advising senior/executive leaders on org decisions, and running performance calibrations. You should have strong diagnostic instincts to distinguish isolated issues from systemic problems and recommend proportionate interventions. Experience in fast-moving environments where process supports rather than defines work is essential. Prior experience at crypto, fintech, web3, or high-growth startups is a plus. Polymarket traded $21B in 2025 and is growing rapidly as an alternative news source, aiming to become a ubiquitous beacon of truth in global media.
