ClickUp is seeking a People Business Partner to support its Product-Led Growth Go-To-Market (PLGTM) organization. This is a hands-on role partnering with managers and employees to navigate performance, development, and employee experience while helping the organization scale thoughtfully.
Key responsibilities include serving as a trusted advisor to managers across the PLGTM organization, providing guidance on performance, team dynamics, and people decisions. You'll support performance cycles including goal setting, reviews, and performance improvement plans. You'll partner with the People team on talent reviews, internal mobility, and team transitions, while helping identify retention risks.
Employee relations management is central to the role: you'll triage and resolve employee concerns with professionalism and empathy, provide managers with guidance on sensitive matters, and ensure appropriate escalation. You'll coach managers through leadership challenges including feedback, performance conversations, and conflict resolution, providing practical tools and frameworks.
Operational excellence is expected through tracking and managing employee cases in ClickUp, identifying patterns in employee issues, and recommending process improvements. A unique aspect of this role is leading ClickUp's AI transformation within the People function. You'll work AI-first, defaulting to AI tools for research, drafting, and administrative processes. You'll build and maintain AI agents and automations to reduce repetitive work, coach managers on AI's impact on role design and team dynamics, and champion adoption across the organization.
Success is measured by managers receiving timely support and handling challenges with confidence, employee concerns being addressed quickly and thoughtfully, smooth operation of core people processes, and measurable reduction in manual work through AI and automation.
