Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced technology, is seeking a People Business Partner to support engineering client groups. This is a strategic HR role based in Costa Mesa, California. You will serve as a strategic thought partner to engineering leadership and teams, responsible for building high-performing organizations through people-focused initiatives. The role spans three core areas: Strategic Advisory: Partner with business owners on people-related strategies and employee engagement. Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute people strategies aligned with anticipated growth. Coach teams on HR best practices and build deep, trust-based relationships across the organization. Employee Relations: Provide guidance on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning. Interpret HR policies and manage complex employee relations issues through thorough investigations. Work with management and employees to improve relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Serve as an advocate and resource for resolving key employee issues while balancing business needs. Organizational Development: Lead the design, implementation, and iteration of new people programs. Improve processes in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Lead talent calibrations and compensation planning. Use people metrics to drive insights around growth and retention. Build data-driven, proactive processes to attract, grow, and retain talent. Required: 8+ years of HR Business Partner experience, preferably with engineering teams. Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Experience across compensation & benefits, compliance, employee relations, and learning & development. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, outcome-oriented environments. Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and coaching skills. Data-driven and detail-oriented. U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data.
