Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company transforming military capabilities through advanced technology, is expanding its People Business Partner teams to support rapid growth across multiple locations. This role is based in Waltham, MA (Lexington/Boston area), supporting engineering client groups. As a People Business Partner, you will serve as a strategic thought partner to engineering leadership and teams, driving organizational effectiveness across talent development, performance management, and people strategy execution. Key responsibilities include: Strategic Advisory: Partner with business owners on people-related strategies and employee engagement initiatives. Collaborate with senior leadership to build and execute people strategies aligned with anticipated growth. Coach managers on best practices and develop deep, trust-based relationships across supported teams. Employee Relations: Provide guidance on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning. Interpret HR policies and manage complex employee relations issues through thorough, objective investigations. Work closely with management and employees to improve relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. Serve as an advocate and resource for resolving key employee issues while balancing business needs. Organizational Development: Lead the design, implementation, and iteration of new people programs and improve existing ones. Build and enhance processes in a dynamic, high-growth environment. Lead talent calibrations and compensation planning. Utilize people metrics to drive insights around growth and retention. Build data-driven, proactive processes to attract, grow, and retain talent. Required qualifications: 8+ years of HR Business Partner experience, preferably with engineering teams. Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Experience across compensation & benefits, compliance, employee relations, and learning & development. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure, outcome-oriented environments. Strong communication, empathy, and emotional intelligence. Data-driven and detail-oriented. U.S. Person status required for access to export-controlled data.
