As People Advisor for Poland, you will oversee all HR operations and own end-to-end People matters for the country, including local implementations of global People initiatives, culture and values agendas, compliance with global policies and local law, local learning, and leadership coaching. You will ensure efficient and effective delivery of HR services and programs supporting organizational goals.
Key responsibilities include:
**Employee Relations**: Serve as the country subject matter expert for employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances. Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment laws to ensure compliance and maintain positive relations.
**Onboarding and Offboarding**: Physically onboard and offboard new employees on location, working closely with line managers, talent acquisition, and divisional partners.
**Payroll Management**: Manage payroll, employment contracts, and related paperwork. Manage relations with local employment institutions (Labor Office, Health/Social/Pension insurance companies). Ensure timely data updates aligned with contracts and divisional direction, including communication on job/cost center changes, pay increases, and personal data updates.
**Compliance and Risk Management**: Stay current on country, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure HR policies and practices comply with relevant legislation. Partner with Compliance and Risk on employee data integrity and training implementation. Manage Health and Safety compliance requirements and support grievances and investigations.
**Local Strategy**: Adapt and implement relevant People Strategic initiatives locally in alignment with Divisional People Partners and Centers of Excellence. Ensure local initiatives on talent, learning, and development are executed.
**Culture and Values**: Partner with local Functional Leaders to translate business needs into people, culture, and organization actions, including local values activation and hybrid working policies.
**Engagement, CSR, and DEI**: Drive engagement, CSR, and diversity/equity/inclusion activities locally. Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Gather employee insights and address improvement areas. Engage both on-site and remote employees.
**Performance Management**: Support the performance management process, including goal setting, evaluations, and development planning.
**Benefits Administration**: Oversee employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, fringe benefits). Work closely with benefits vendors, brokers, and people operations.
**Mobility and Immigration**: Act as internal subject matter expert and liaise with Legal and external immigration teams on relocation support and immigration matters.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 3 years of progressive HR experience
- Sound knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations specific to Poland
- Customer-centric approach with high-level communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
- Self-driven with a "can-do" attitude; independent and proactive with ability to take ownership
- Fluent in English and Polish
