Prévenir is a new Occupational Health and Prevention Service (SPSTI) in the Île-de-France region, leveraging Alan's technology to rethink occupational health and improve employee experience. The company has just opened its first medical centre in Paris and is scaling rapidly.
You will join at an early stage to build and structure People and administrative operations from the ground up. This is not about running existing processes but creating them to scale. The role combines a product mindset with People operations, where every employee touchpoint is carefully designed with a focus on simplicity and automation.
Your responsibilities span four key areas:
1. Employee Journey: Design and execute onboarding, manage probation-period tracking, establish and run performance reviews, implement feedback processes, and monitor team engagement.
2. Documentation & Operational Efficiency: Create clear, user-centric documentation, identify friction points, simplify or automate recurring processes, and leverage AI to amplify impact.
3. People Administration: Manage leave and absence tracking, coordinate with payroll and accounting partners, handle contracting and employee administrative follow-up, manage onboarding formalities (health/provident insurance, occupational health), and ensure GDPR compliance.
4. Operational Finance: Process expense reports, prepare and send accounting documents to Impulsa, and prepare routine filings including VAT.
Over time, you will take ownership of payroll management in coordination with the accounting partner, with full training and support.
You will work closely with Lucie, who provides support and makes final calls on complex topics as you grow into full autonomy. The role is based at 117 Quai de Valmy, Paris 10th, in a newly designed medical centre, with expectation of onsite presence three days per week or more.
REQUIREMENTS:
Essential:
- At least 5–6 years of hands-on People Ops experience, comfortable with administrative topics (e.g., managing accounting firm relationships)
- Previous experience in a fast-scaling company, start-up, or scale-up, ideally having built or scaled People processes during significant growth
- Business curiosity and ability to connect People work to company direction
- Versatility across People and Corporate/Admin topics with strong People focus
- Rigour and rock-solid attention to detail
- Autonomy: proactively identify problems, bring solutions, and know when to escalate
- Demonstrated interest in automating and improving recurring processes; genuine enthusiasm for AI
- Comfort interacting with diverse stakeholders, including senior profiles
- Fluent English (written and spoken) to interact with the Alan team
- Based in Paris or Île-de-France region with ability to work onsite regularly, ideally three days per week or more
Ideally:
- Experience in MedTech or in a start-up/scale-up
- Sensitivity to the medical world (professional or personal)
- Note: a 100% Occupational Health background may not be the right cultural fit
