Rapyd is a global fintech platform unifying payments, payouts, and financial services across 150+ countries. The company operates offices in Tel Aviv, Amsterdam, Singapore, Iceland, London, Dubai, Hong Kong, and the US, serving a diverse, distributed workforce.
As Payroll Specialist based in Reykjavík, you will own payroll processing for Rapyd's Iceland operations, managing salary processing for 120+ employees. You'll be embedded in a global HR and finance team spanning multiple time zones and jurisdictions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing and compliance for the Iceland entity
- Manage payroll and time registration systems, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Drive continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
- Collaborate with Rapyd's global compensation and benefits team to ensure consistency and competitiveness
- Analyze local compensation and benefits programs to align with market standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure compliance with Icelandic labor laws, tax regulations, and reporting obligations
You will report into the global finance/HR function and work closely with peers across Rapyd's international offices. This role requires attention to detail, strong process orientation, and the ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional payroll complexity.
