As a Payroll Specialist, you will support payroll processing and general ledger operations for EarnIn's domestic and international entities. Your responsibilities include processing payroll for multiple jurisdictions, preparing and reconciling payroll-related journal entries and accruals, maintaining payroll records (timesheets, deductions), and ensuring compliance with international, federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Key duties:
- Assist with preparation and processing of domestic and international payroll while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Maintain comprehensive payroll records including timesheets and employee deductions
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timesheets
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare necessary journal entries
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate employee data in payroll systems
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance
- Analyze financial data and explain variances
- Support external audits with required documentation
You bring 3+ years of payroll and accounting experience, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (or equivalent), and proficiency with NetSuite or similar ERP systems and Excel. WorkDay experience is a plus. You excel in fast-paced environments, multitask effectively, maintain meticulous attention to detail, and thrive in global team settings.
