Rad AI is seeking a Patient Navigation Program Advisor to join the Continuity team, a care coordination platform that identifies actionable findings in radiology reports and ensures follow-up recommendations are tracked through completion. This role bridges clinical expertise and product development, bringing hands-on navigator experience into the company's workflows, training, and feature prioritization.
You will partner with implementation and customer success teams to design follow-up programs tailored to each customer's staffing, referral patterns, and EHR infrastructure. Responsibilities include advising on configuration decisions (worklist setup, letter templates, outreach cadences), supporting navigator training and user acceptance testing, and serving as the clinical resource for customer navigation teams during their first months live.
You'll bring the navigator's perspective to product requirements, design reviews, and prioritization decisions. You'll review follow-up recommendations and categorization alongside the clinical team, help determine which steps require clinical judgment versus automation, and codify best practices into training materials, playbooks, and benchmarks.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years in radiology follow-up, navigation, or care coordination (as a nurse navigator, radiology technologist, coordinator, or comparable role). You've designed a follow-up program and led the staff who run it. You have hands-on experience working a follow-up worklist, tracking patients through completion, and navigating the messy realities: unreachable patients, wrong referring providers, orders that never get placed. You're comfortable across EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and understand how orders, results, and patient communication flow through health systems. You're self-directed, comfortable with ambiguity, and available during US business hours for customer-facing sessions.
Nice-to-haves include an active or previously held clinical license (RN, RT(R)), radiology department experience, familiarity with radiology follow-up guidelines (Fleischner, TI-RADS, LI-RADS, Lung-RADS), and experience managing or training other navigators.
