Dust is an enterprise AI platform that empowers teams to build, own, and run AI agents integrated with their internal tools and knowledge. Backed by Sequoia and founded by alumni from Stripe, OpenAI, and Stanford, Dust serves fast-moving companies like Datadog, 1Password, and Cursor, with 70%+ weekly active users and rapid growth.
You will be the first Partnerships Manager for Dust's UK market, building the partner ecosystem from the ground up. This is a 0-to-1 business development role with no existing playbook or team. Your core mission is to identify, recruit, and activate partners—primarily AI transformation agencies, system integrators, and consultancies—who will generate qualified pipeline and revenue for Dust in the UK.
Key responsibilities include:
**Partner Ecosystem Development:** Identify and qualify UK partners aligned with Dust's ideal customer profile. Drive partners from signed agreement to actively selling and closing deals. Create activation playbooks that enable partners to sell effectively. Own UK partnership pipeline and revenue targets with freedom to experiment with deal structures and incentive models.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration:** Work closely with UK Sales (AEs and BDRs) to build co-selling motions and account mapping. Partner with Field Marketing on joint events, co-branded content, and community activations. Maintain alignment with the global partnerships team (currently 6 people) and adapt proven playbooks. Collaborate with Growth Marketing on co-hosted webinars, case studies, and partner-led content. Coordinate with Product and Engineering on integration priorities and joint solution development.
You will report into the global partnerships team and work directly with Sales, Field Marketing, Growth, Community, and the Executive Team. Success is measured by partners generating qualified opportunities and closing deals—not just signed logos.
Dust operates with an office-first culture across Paris, London, San Francisco, and New York, valuing in-person collaboration for fast decisions and problem-solving. The company extends trust to strong judgment on when remote work makes sense for your day.
**Requirements:**
*Aptitude:* High AI literacy with daily AI usage and ability to articulate AI applications to partnerships. Proven go-to-market strategy experience with customer-obsessed, first-principles thinking. Experience building partnerships at startups or scale-ups (not large enterprise reseller models). Specific experience with agency partners, system integrators, or similar zero-to-one motions. Grit and sales acumen to convince partners, hold them accountable, and find alternative paths when direct routes close.
*Attitude:* Team player solving for Dust and its customers, not just partnership metrics. Low ego, high impact—leveraging others' work to make the broader team better. Decisive on prioritization and willing to cut underperforming partnerships. Direct and transparent, surfacing problems early with honest feedback. User-first orientation, framing decisions around customer outcomes.
*Agency:* Ability to unblock yourself with AI and people, scaling impact through tools and cross-functional leverage. Ownership of end-to-end outcomes, identifying gaps and driving resolution without being told. Willingness to challenge goals when wrong, with high agency in both execution and thinking. Track record of expanding scope by solving unassigned problems. Comfort launching initiatives without permission and delivering with limited resources.
