Baselayer is rebuilding the identity and trust infrastructure layer for American business banking. The company has built the most complete business graph in America—fusing public records, IRS data, sanctions lists, web signals, and fraud telemetry from 2,200+ financial institutions—achieving 98% match rates in under two years, compared to legacy credit bureaus' 60% over 50 years. Trusted by over 20% of US financial institutions including FIS, Rho, and Socure, Baselayer is now extending into the agentic economy: as AI agents begin transacting autonomously, they need verifiable credentials and real-time trust verification.
You'll join the Agentic Economy team, a startup-within-startup led by a GM, working directly with payment networks, banks, wallet providers, and agent platforms to define the category and build infrastructure for agent commerce. This is a high-trust, execution-oriented role managing strategic partnerships end-to-end.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive outbound outreach and manage relationships with payment networks, financial institutions, agent builders, wallet providers, and platforms deploying agents
- Own strategic partnerships from sourcing and structuring through activation, enablement, and long-term growth
- Run partner threads end-to-end: agendas, briefs, follow-ups, NDAs, materials, and internal alignment
- Represent the GM in partner meetings, hold strategy, take positions, and make commitments
- Embed in partner workflows through joint GTM calls, regular touchpoints, and co-hosted events
- Maintain rigorous pipeline and partner tracking in HubSpot with deal stages, activity, and next steps
- Build repeatable partner playbooks and enablement assets: briefs, one-pagers, collateral, co-marketing campaigns
- Drive internal cross-functional alignment across Sales, Product, Solutions, and Marketing
- Gather partner and customer feedback to inform product and process improvements
Minimum requirements: 5+ years in partnerships or business development at fintech, payments, or identity companies.
