Zipline is the world's largest autonomous drone delivery service, operating on four continents and completing millions of deliveries of blood, vaccines, medical supplies, food, and retail products. The Partnerships Coordinator will drive demand generation, supply generation, and stakeholder management within Bayelsa State, reporting to the Nest Lead and working with the Sales & Partnerships (S&P) team. This role ensures Zipline's services are actively used by health facilities, integrated into regional and district health systems, and championed by local communities and leaders.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Demand Generation: Serve as the primary liaison for health facilities in the region, resolving issues and championing customer feedback. Analyze order and delivery data, conduct facility visits, and deliver tailored training to raise service utilization. Support execution of use case growth plans to expand service adoption. Respond to facility concerns about drop-off points and engage internal teams to resolve them. Identify and propose new delivery drop-off points. Propose and execute customer engagement plans that improve relationships with facility staff and community members.
Supply Generation: Build strong working relationships with Regional and District Health Directors, EPI Coordinators, Store Offices, and other health stakeholders. Engage health stakeholders to integrate Zipline services into supply planning, maintain healthy buffer stock levels, and increase last-mile delivery (LMD) opportunities. Coordinate medical and vaccine campaigns with regions and districts, ensuring Zipline is a key part of campaign delivery planning. Maintain accurate stakeholder database and contact records.
Stakeholder Management & Community Engagement: Develop and maintain trusted relationships with community leaders, political leaders, regulators, and local authorities to protect operations and enable future expansion. Plan and execute community-based events such as blood drives, health fairs, and CSR activations to boost local goodwill. Partner with S&P to host nest tours, media visits, and influencer engagements to build brand visibility. Represent Zipline in routine regional and district-level meetings with health authorities. Prepare and disseminate periodic stakeholder reports with insights and recommendations.
Success will be measured by maintaining healthy active facility utilization rates, meeting delivery targets for organic orders and LMD opportunities, executing impactful CSR/community events, and delivering quality, timely stakeholder reports.
Travel requirement: approximately 40%.
**Requirements:**
- 2+ years of experience in partnerships, customer service, or other client-facing role
- Strong knack for building new and managing existing stakeholder relationships in Nigeria
- Significant knowledge of Nigerian healthcare systems and agencies
- Strong visual, written, and verbal communications skills with experience on proposals, reports, and presentations
- Ability to turn data points into strategies and compelling user insights that communicate simply and effectively to stakeholders
- Ability to translate abstract client or stakeholder needs into tangible goals that operations teams can deliver
- Entrepreneurial mindset and strong conversion skills to create external champions of Zipline
- Experience working with local communities in the field to support health systems or development-focused projects, and/or experience in healthcare or medical supply chain
- Collaborative approach working with multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Grit, resourcefulness, and resilience to thrive in novel, uncertain, and constantly-changing business and regulatory environments
