Sportradar's Rights & Partnership Protection (RPP) team is seeking a Partnership Protection Specialist to serve as a key operational liaison between Sportradar and major sports rights holders across North America. This role combines field operations, intelligence gathering, stakeholder engagement, and investigative work to protect, enhance, and optimize Sportradar's sports partnerships.
Key responsibilities include attending sporting events throughout North America to support rights-holder operations; building and maintaining trusted relationships with leagues, federations, security teams, and venue operators; conducting intelligence-led research into market activity and emerging risks affecting partnership interests; and identifying operational vulnerabilities and trends impacting Sportradar's rights partnerships.
The specialist will lead digital evidence collection relating to sportsbook activity, betting markets, and prediction platforms; develop intelligence holdings on individuals, groups, and networks operating within the sports betting ecosystem; and collaborate with RPP colleagues across Europe to identify global trends and organized networks operating across multiple jurisdictions.
Additional duties include analyzing information from rights holders and transforming operational reporting into actionable intelligence; producing regular intelligence products, stakeholder briefings, and operational assessments; delivering season-long reporting including pre-season risk assessments and in-season updates; supporting rights holders in developing operational best practices; planning and delivering educational workshops for stakeholders; and contributing to the development of global RPP methodologies and operational standards.
The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of experience in investigations, intelligence, sports integrity, law enforcement, security, due diligence, or related analytical fields. Required qualifications include a demonstrable investigative mindset, strong understanding of the North American sports landscape (NBA, MLB, NHL, with knowledge of tennis and MLS), experience analyzing information from multiple sources and producing concise reports, understanding of sportsbook operations and sports betting ecosystems, ability to identify emerging trends and networked activity, strong stakeholder engagement capabilities, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
