Sportradar's Rights & Partnership Protection (RPP) team is seeking a Partnership Protection Specialist to serve as a key operational liaison between Sportradar and major North American sports rights holders. This role combines field operations, intelligence gathering, stakeholder engagement, and investigative work to protect, enhance, and optimize Sportradar's sports partnerships.
Key responsibilities include attending sporting events across North America to support rights-holder operations; building and maintaining trusted relationships with leagues, federations, security teams, and venue operators; conducting intelligence-led research into market activity and emerging risks affecting partnerships; and identifying operational vulnerabilities in the sports betting and data collection ecosystem.
The specialist will lead digital evidence collection related to sportsbook activity, betting markets, and prediction platforms; develop intelligence holdings on individuals, groups, and networks operating within sports betting; and collaborate with RPP colleagues across Europe to identify global trends and organized syndicates. The role requires producing regular intelligence products, stakeholder briefings, operational assessments, and season-long reporting including pre-season risk assessments and post-season reviews.
Additional duties include supporting rights holders in developing operational best practices, planning and delivering educational workshops for stakeholders, and contributing to the development of global RPP methodologies and standards.
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in investigations, intelligence, sports integrity, law enforcement, security, or related analytical fields. Strong understanding of North American sports (NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, tennis) and their betting markets is essential. Required skills include investigative mindset, multi-source information analysis, knowledge of sportsbook operations and modern wagering mechanics (live/in-play betting, prediction platforms, exchanges, latency arbitrage), ability to identify emerging trends and networked activity, and excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities.
