Salary: USD 70,000 - 80,000 / annual
Via Transportation is transforming public mobility through technology. As a Partner Success Manager on the Student Transit team, you will be the primary point of contact for school district leadership and transportation directors, building trust-based relationships and driving growth in one of Via's fastest-growing verticals.
You will own a portfolio of school district partners, serving as their trusted advisor on service performance, operational efficiency, and program expansion. Your responsibilities include:
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with superintendents, transportation directors, and operators through empathy, responsiveness, and deep understanding of their priorities
• Analyzing daily, weekly, and long-term transit performance data to identify opportunities for improvement in routing, student safety, and operational efficiency
• Leading contract renewals and service expansion negotiations, growing year-over-year adoption and revenue across your partner base
• Advocating internally for partner needs, working cross-functionally with product, operations, deployment, and marketing teams
• Delivering clear, compelling presentations and operational updates to diverse audiences from school boards to frontline staff
• Establishing best practices, success metrics, and operational workflows to scale the Student Transit vertical nationally
This is a quota-carrying role requiring approximately 50% travel to support service launches and partner engagement across the country.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 2 years of client-facing experience in sales, business development, customer success, account management, consulting, or B2G/education tech
• Comfort with operational data analysis and ability to translate numbers into strategic narratives
• Self-starter mentality with ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments with ambiguity
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with talent for translating complex operational models into simple concepts
• Willingness to travel frequently and represent Via confidently on the ground
• Mission-driven interest in modernizing student transportation and improving education access (prior transit, education, or public sector experience is a plus but not required)
