Salary: USD 70,000 - 80,000 / annual

Via Transportation is transforming public mobility through technology. As a Partner Success Manager on the Student Transit team, you'll be a key driver of one of Via's fastest-growing verticals, bringing safe, efficient, and flexible transportation solutions to school districts across the U.S. You will serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor to school district superintendents and transportation directors. Your role blends strategic relationship management, operational data analysis, and consultative problem-solving. You'll own the full customer lifecycle: building durable trust-based relationships, analyzing transit performance data to drive operational improvements, leading contract renewals and service expansions, and championing partner needs internally across product, operations, and deployment teams. Key responsibilities include: - Building and maintaining trusted relationships with school district leadership and transportation operators - Analyzing daily, weekly, and long-term transit performance data to identify challenges and recommend improvements in routing, safety, and efficiency - Leading renewals and expansions by understanding customer goals, negotiating contracts, and growing year-over-year adoption and revenue - Advocating for partner needs internally and collaborating with cross-functional teams - Delivering clear, compelling presentations and operational updates to diverse audiences (school boards, superintendents, transit staff) - Establishing best practices, success metrics, and operational workflows to scale the Student Transit vertical nationally This is a quota-carrying role requiring approximately 50% travel to support service launches and customer engagement across the country. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 2 years of client-facing experience in sales, business development, customer success, account management, consulting, or B2G/education tech - Comfort with operational data analysis and ability to extract meaningful insights and translate numbers into strategic narratives - Self-starter mentality with ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth settings with ambiguity - Excitement about service launches, cross-team coordination, and frequent travel - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex operational models into simple, compelling concepts - Mission-driven interest in modernizing student transportation and improving education access (prior transit, education, or public sector experience is a plus but not required)
