Imprint is a fintech company that modernizes co-branded credit card programs for major brands like Crate & Barrel, Rakuten, Booking.com, H-E-B, Fetch, and Shell. The company combines payments infrastructure, intelligent underwriting, and customer data to create loyalty programs and financial products without requiring partners to become banks.
As Partner Marketing Manager, you will own the complete marketing strategy and growth outcomes for several of Imprint's largest co-branded credit card partnerships. You will function as the CMO for your assigned partners, leading annual marketing planning with General Managers and partner executives, owning full-funnel performance from application through long-term retention, and driving high-impact campaign strategy across paid, owned, and partner channels.
Key responsibilities include: developing and executing 12-month marketing roadmaps with quarterly planning cycles and budget allocation; designing and optimizing acquisition campaigns across paid channels (paid social, paid search, affiliate, direct mail) and owned channels (lifecycle, in-app, email); building audience segmentation, positioning, and messaging strategies; managing full-funnel performance including application rate, approval rate, activation rate, spend behavior, and retention; serving as the senior marketing point of contact for assigned partners; managing external vendor relationships (affiliate platforms, direct mail bureaus, media agencies); driving cross-functional alignment with product, engineering, analytics, and creative teams; and owning measurement frameworks and reporting cadence.
In your first 90 days, you will build and present 12-month marketing plans for each assigned partner, complete diagnostic assessments of full-funnel performance, create a partner marketing playbook, launch or iterate campaigns in at least two channels with measurable improvements, establish yourself as a trusted strategic partner to internal teams and external stakeholders, and demonstrate technical depth in campaign deployment tools and workflows.
Requirements:
- 7 to 10+ years of growth marketing or partner marketing experience in financial services or fintech, with a track record of leading (not just supporting) product or partnership launches and scaling
- Deep technical knowledge of marketing workflows across paid and owned channels, including lifecycle campaign deployment through tools like Braze, with ability to make architectural and workflow decisions
- Experience with affiliate platforms (Impact, AWIN) and paid acquisition channels (paid social, paid search), with demonstrated ability to optimize channel mix and manage meaningful media budgets
- Strong analytical skills with proven experience diagnosing funnel performance, designing experiments, and optimizing CAC, approval rates, activation rates, LTV, and retention at scale
- Proven ability to build marketing plans, experimentation frameworks, and funnel optimization strategies in close partnership with cross-functional teams, with leadership skills to drive alignment and accountability
- Track record of building trust and credibility with senior partner stakeholders, with ability to represent marketing strategy at executive level
- Exceptional communication skills to translate complex partner objectives into clear marketing strategies and present confidently to internal leadership and external partner teams
Nice to have: growth marketing depth with end-to-end performance media campaign experience; direct mail expertise including pre-screen or ITA campaigns and work with data providers and vendors; experience in high-growth startups or scaling marketing programs in resource-constrained environments; familiarity with product marketing for new product launches and comfort operating in ambiguity during early-stage go-to-market.
