OpenAI's Marketing team is seeking an experienced Partner Marketing Manager to build and scale the partner marketing function for ChatGPT Ads. This role sits at the intersection of partnerships, product marketing, sales, communications, and growth, focused on creating an ecosystem that helps advertisers access, activate, measure, and grow on ChatGPT through existing and new partners.
Key responsibilities include developing ecosystem strategy and identifying high-impact partners and programs; creating differentiated go-to-market strategies across technology, measurement, and strategic partner segments; designing and executing integrated co-marketing programs including launches, campaigns, events, content, webinars, and customer stories; translating product integrations into compelling advertiser-facing value propositions; driving advertiser acquisition and activation through partner channels; building scalable partner enablement programs and marketing materials; developing joint messaging, positioning, and launch narratives with cross-functional teams; identifying and developing customer and partner stories demonstrating ChatGPT Ads impact; establishing measurement frameworks connecting programs to business outcomes; building repeatable processes for partner launches and co-marketing; and serving as strategic marketing advisor to priority partners.
The ideal candidate has 8+ years in partner marketing, platform marketing, product marketing, or ecosystem marketing in advertising or technology; deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem and how advertisers work across platforms, agencies, and measurement providers; proven experience building partner programs from the ground up and scaling one-off partnerships into repeatable go-to-market motions; ability to move fluidly between strategy and execution; strong cross-functional collaboration skills; excellent positioning and storytelling instincts; experience developing external-facing programs including events and partner activations; data-driven approach to investment decisions and program scaling; comfort operating in emerging categories; and ability to work credibly with senior executives and external partners in high-visibility situations.
