Quince, a Series D-funded direct-to-consumer accessories company founded in 2018, is seeking a Packaging and Print Marketing Designer to lead creative execution across two critical channels as the company scales. The role sits at the intersection of creative, marketing, and operations, owning the end-to-end design process for both product packaging and direct mail marketing assets—from concept through final production.
You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand elevation, performance, and manufacturing viability. This position requires balancing refined aesthetic vision with deep production expertise, understanding material costs, sustainability implications, and manufacturing constraints. You'll work against clear KPIs, iterate quickly based on performance data, and optimize creative without sacrificing brand integrity or quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and executing packaging and direct mail marketing assets
- Managing the full design lifecycle from concept to production
- Collaborating with marketing, operations, and manufacturing partners
- Applying data-informed insights to refine and optimize creative work
- Leveraging production knowledge as a design tool, not an afterthought
- Ensuring designs meet brand standards, cost targets, and sustainability goals
The ideal candidate combines strong design fundamentals and refined taste with deep expertise in packaging and print production. You're comfortable with constraints, understand how to design for manufacturability, and can balance creative excellence with business metrics. This role reports to the Design Director and is hybrid for San Francisco-based candidates, with remote flexibility for those outside the area.
