Salary: USD 150,000 - 200,000 / annual

Yugabyte is seeking an Order Manager to own the quote-to-booking process as the company scales. YugabyteDB is a distributed PostgreSQL database trusted by industry leaders including Shopify, Paramount+, GM, Kroger, and Fiserv, deployed in over 100 countries powering 5+ million clusters. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be a hands-on individual contributor responsible for ensuring every order—whether sold directly, through channel partners, or via cloud marketplaces—is structured, approved, and booked accurately in compliance with company policy. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Partnerships, Deal Desk, Billing, and Accounting, building the checklists, controls, and processes that keep order-to-cash data clean as the business grows. Key responsibilities include: - Reviewing and booking customer orders for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with booking policy, validating pricing, discounts, terms, products, and dates across Nue and Salesforce - Building, maintaining, and enforcing deal checklists covering the full lifecycle from quote generation through booking, ensuring required approvals and supporting documentation are captured - Owning the order process for all marketplace and partner transactions, including private offers on AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, and Oracle Cloud Marketplace, channel partner private offers, and reseller orders - Supporting deal registration and co-sell activity in WorkSpan and Salesforce, tracking partner referral fees, commissions, rebates, and marketplace incentives - Supporting month-end and quarter-end close by ensuring all bookings are complete and accurate within deadlines - Serving as owner of order and subscription data quality, producing regular reporting on booking volume, accuracy, cycle time, usage trends, and partner-sourced bookings - Maintaining documentation and evidence for order management controls, supporting internal and external audit requests - Acting as first point of contact for Sales, Deal Desk, Partnerships, Legal, Billing, and Customer Success on order and booking questions - Identifying error patterns and leading the use of AI tools to eliminate manual workarounds across the quote-to-booking process, partnering with Sales Ops to build AI-enabled workflows Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in Order Management, Deal Desk, Billing Operations, Revenue Operations, or related quote-to-cash function, ideally within high-growth technology or SaaS company - Hands-on experience processing orders through cloud marketplaces (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Oracle Cloud), including private offers and channel partner private offers; experience supporting reseller or co-sell programs; familiarity with WorkSpan is a plus - Hands-on experience with Salesforce and a CPQ platform (ideally Nue); experience with NetSuite or similar ERP, a billing system, and advanced Excel skills - Practical experience using AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or AI features within business systems) to automate or improve finance or operations workflows - Track record of catching data inconsistencies before they reach billing or financial reporting; comfort owning ambiguous problems and driving them to resolution with limited supervision - Ability to explain booking policy and deal requirements clearly to Sales and cross-functional partners, holding the line on compliance while keeping deals moving - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field - People management experience is not required
