Ridwell is a B Corps-certified sustainability company that helps customers reuse and recycle items their city doesn't collect. The company picks up recyclable and reusable items from doorsteps and matches them with local partners for sustainable reuse, diverting waste from landfills while supporting non-profits.
The Operations Supervisor will manage daily warehouse operations for the Portland team, located near PDX airport. This is a people-management role responsible for leading and developing warehouse staff, driving operational efficiency, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising and managing warehouse team members
- Overseeing daily operational workflows and logistics
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Ensuring team productivity and safety standards
- Managing inventory and warehouse organization
- Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Problem-solving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
The ideal candidate brings warehouse operations experience, proven leadership and team management skills, strong communication abilities, and a creative problem-solving mindset. You're comfortable in warehouse environments, can work Monday-Friday 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, and are willing to drive in all weather conditions as needed for business operations. A can-do attitude and adaptability are essential.
