Salary: MYR 3,300 - 4,500 / monthly

As an Operations Specialist, you will be part of the European Operations team based in Penang, working to make logistics more transparent, faster, and safer. Your day-to-day responsibilities include providing world-class customer service, making quick decisions and resolutions to operational issues, ensuring KPIs are met, and collaborating across teams with a "One Team" mindset. You will track the movement of goods using various systems, provide real-time shipment updates, process transactions, manage daily logistics activities, and properly document issues to support corrective actions. The role demands flexibility, including potential irregular hours or overtime during peak times or when addressing critical issues. You will work in-person at the Penang office.
You see operations as more than customer service—you understand the critical nature of time-sensitive logistics and take pride in solving complex problems. You excel at rapidly shifting between tasks, have strong attention to detail, and can make sound judgments quickly under pressure. You maintain organized records, manage multiple priorities effectively, and bring a positive attitude to challenging situations.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1–2+ years of experience in international logistics (freight forwarder, air, express, courier, or same-day logistics preferred)
- At least 2+ years of proven track record in customer service or operations roles
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly move between critical tasks and shift roles when necessary
- Strong attention to detail and ability to make good judgments quickly
- Fluent in speaking and writing English; additional language skills are a bonus
- Knowledge of basic logistics principles (Incoterms, supply chain fundamentals, international trade) is a plus
- Must be able to work in-person at the Penang office
