Opendoor is building its Toronto Operations team and seeking an Operations Specialist to own critical workflows in the home transaction lifecycle. The role focuses on handling exceptions, escalations, and quality assurance that AI cannot fully automate. You'll be responsible for end-to-end execution of getting homes listed and on market, managing high volumes of cases simultaneously against firm deadlines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own exception handling and escalations outside automated processes
- Quality-check listings before going live: photos, listing data, descriptions, and documents
- Validate AI-generated outputs and take ownership of quality and accuracy
- Manage multiple open cases simultaneously with firm deadlines
- Serve as the go-to resource for listing questions across the business
- Cross-train across workflows to handle volume variability
- Identify process gaps and provide feedback on tool and workflow improvements
You'll need comfort working with AI tools and a genuine interest in leveraging technology to work faster and smarter. Strong project management instincts are essential, along with the ability to drive multiple workstreams to hard deadlines. The ideal candidate cares about details, moves fast, figures out how to make AI work for them, and is resourceful when solving problems. You should be comfortable with ambiguity, able to learn quickly, and have strong communication skills to coordinate across teams.
