Samsara (NYSE: IOT) is the pioneer of the Connected Operations Cloud, a platform enabling organizations in physical operations—agriculture, construction, field services, transportation, and manufacturing—to harness IoT data for actionable insights and operational improvement.
As an Implementation Consultant, you will own the customer journey post-signature, managing successful deployments of Samsara's solution. You'll work with top customers to understand their value objectives and define and deliver comprehensive project plans to achieve them.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the Samsara advisor, managing technology deployment and enabling customers to achieve quick time to value
- Lead solution workshops to develop L1 processes for business operations
- Guide customers through change management, including policy, communications, and training
- Conduct training sessions, demonstrate Samsara technology, and work through obstacles with executives and end-users across multiple use cases
- Manage multiple customer engagements in parallel while working cross-functionally to deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Champion Samsara's cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as the company scales globally
The role is cross-functional, connecting Sales, Support, Sales Engineering, and Product teams. Travel to customer sites required for up to 30% of the time, including potential overnight stays.
Minimum qualifications:
- 2+ years in implementation consulting, project management, or onboarding roles (enterprise SaaS and hardware experience preferred)
- Strong project management skills with proven methodology experience
- 2+ years supporting or working with technical products
- Solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and project management capabilities
- Excellent consultative skills with end-to-end system implementation experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage 20+ implementations/projects simultaneously
- Proven track record building trust and communicating effectively with diverse stakeholders (executives, senior management, end-users)
