Upway is Europe's and USA's leading platform for selling refurbished e-bikes. In just 4 years, the company has given new life to over 100,000 e-bikes and is growing rapidly. Germany is now Upway's largest market, and they are seeking an Operations Manager to strengthen their team.
In this role, you will lead a team of warehouse staff and bicycle mechatronics specialists, serving as a motivating example. You will design, implement, and independently manage entire sections of operational workflows while maintaining a strong customer-centric focus. Your responsibilities include ensuring optimal daily warehouse output, managing stakeholder relationships with suppliers and partners, and continuously optimizing processes to enhance both customer experience and economic efficiency.
You will establish data-driven tools and dashboards to maintain precise oversight of operations, working closely with other departments to support rapid growth and expansion. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, including root-cause analysis and data analysis proficiency. You will take full responsibility for a complex operational area in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse environment.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in engineering, finance, logistics, business administration, or a comparable field, with 1–3 years of experience in operations, finance, or similar roles. You must be fluent in German and English, possess strong communication and leadership skills, and thrive in a rapidly changing environment. A hands-on mentality, attention to detail, and willingness to go the extra mile are essential. You should be comfortable with data analysis and ready to drive operational excellence at scale.
