Stord is a rapidly growing commerce-enablement platform that powers seamless checkout through delivery for leading DTC and B2B brands. The company manages over $10 billion in commerce annually through fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, and a proprietary software suite (OMS, WMS, Pre/Post-Purchase platforms). Stord is on track to double revenue in the next 18 months and is scaling teams across the organization.
As Operations Manager, you will lead day-to-day fulfillment center operations across inbound, put-away, outbound (B2C/B2B), and returns. You'll manage a team of Area Managers, operations leads, and warehouse associates, driving execution against daily goals and operational KPIs including location accuracy, dock-to-stock time, outbound SLA, order productivity, and personnel productivity.
Key responsibilities include: overseeing inventory accuracy and ICQA quality assurance processes; managing operational P&L including budgeting and payroll; scheduling and staffing planning; supporting new client launches; developing and coaching direct reports; partnering with cross-functional teams (industrial engineering, solutions engineering, customer quality, implementations); and collaborating with HR, Safety, and Customer Service to drive results.
You'll need minimum 5 years in high-volume DTC fulfillment at manager level or above, with experience leading salaried teams of 5+ and non-exempt teams of 60+. You must have hands-on experience running highly technical, automated operations in facilities 200k+ sq ft, WMS configuration/troubleshooting expertise, and advanced Excel skills. A Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) is required. Leadership experience in operational startups or change management is valued. The role requires flexibility for overtime, including evenings and weekends. Bilingual (Spanish/English) and Lean Six Sigma/Kaizen experience are bonuses.
