Salary: USD 110,000 - 130,000 / annual

Blank Street is a fast-growing food and beverage brand on a mission to become the defining brand of its generation. As Operations Manager, you'll lead café operations across Washington, DC and Philadelphia, with primary responsibility for growing and developing people. You'll build and coach a high-performing team of General Managers, helping them become confident leaders who build engaged teams across stores. Your role spans three core areas: People: Recruit, hire, and develop General Managers. Create an engaging culture where teams feel supported and challenged. Coach managers through performance and employee relations with fairness and care. Lead labor planning, scheduling, and staffing strategies across your district. Ensure consistent, high-quality training experiences. Operations & Customer Experience: Champion exceptional hospitality and Blank Street's standards for service, quality, and execution. Spend time in stores coaching teams and leading by example. Maintain operational excellence, food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards across every location. Partner with HQ teams on new initiatives and operational improvements. Business Performance: Own financial performance of your district, including sales, labor, and profitability. Use data and insights to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement. Build strong community relationships to grow brand awareness and customer loyalty. You'll lead through change with clarity, urgency, and empathy in a fast-paced, growing business. Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and share best practices. Help develop the next generation of Blank Street leaders. Requirements: 5+ years of operational leadership experience in hospitality, retail, or fast-growing consumer business. Experience leading multiple locations and developing managers. Ability and willingness to travel regularly between DC and Philadelphia stores. Strong operational, financial, and business acumen. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Collaborative, hands-on leadership style with coaching and decision-making ability. Passion for hospitality, developing people, and creating exceptional experiences. Curious, positive, and committed to continuous learning. Full-time role requiring 50 hours per week, 5 days availability, with 2 peak days (typically weekend days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
