As Operations Controller, you will report to the Corporate Controller and own the accounting functions supporting LVT's scaling manufacturing and inventory operations. This role is critical to maintaining financial accuracy and integrity as the company grows in operational complexity.
Key responsibilities include:
• Inventory Accounting & Reconciliation: Monthly reconciliation of all inventory-related GL accounts (raw materials, WIP, finished goods, reserves) with full supporting documentation and accuracy verification.
• Inventory Variance Analysis: Perform and investigate monthly variances (purchase price, usage, manufacturing), identify root causes, and collaborate with Operations teams to drive resolution.
• Cycle Counting & Physical Inventory: Own and manage the cycle count program; lead year-end physical inventory process end-to-end, including planning, reconciliation, and variance reporting to leadership.
• Standard Cost Management: Lead annual standard cost updates incorporating labor, overhead, and material inputs; maintain standard costs throughout the year as BOMs, routings, and material costs evolve.
• Fixed Asset Accounting: Oversee fixed asset accounting as inventory converts to fixed assets (leasing/subscription programs), including capitalization, depreciation, and reconciliation.
You will work closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams in a fast-paced, problem-solving environment. Strong GAAP knowledge, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to partner cross-functionally are essential. This is an in-office role based at LVT's American Fork, UT headquarters.
