Revolut is seeking an Operational Risk Manager to join its Risk team and work closely with the Head of Risk and key stakeholders across the organization. This role is critical to ensuring Revolut's business operates safely as it continues rapid growth across its suite of financial products serving 65+ million customers. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, documenting, and reviewing operational risks across all functions, products, and regions. Key responsibilities include: • Working with first-line defense teams to identify and assess risks of all types • Providing oversight in the design, implementation, and effectiveness testing of controls • Developing and implementing risk policies, procedures, key risk indicators, and risk appetite statements • Monitoring risks against established limits and thresholds, producing management reports • Managing risk incident processes including registration, investigation, root cause analysis, and reporting • Participating in the New Initiatives Approval Process with appropriate governance and stakeholder engagement • Fostering risk awareness and positive risk culture across the organization • Supporting audits and regulatory inquiries related to operational risk You will use data-driven approaches to track risk exposures and continuously improve Revolut's risk management framework and governance structures. This is an opportunity to shape financial services risk management at a high-growth fintech company. Required qualifications: 4+ years of experience in risk management or related role within financial services, bachelor's degree, fluency in English with excellent communication skills, strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, solid organizational skills and attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities independently. Nice-to-have qualifications include SQL proficiency, understanding of financial services regulations, knowledge of fintech products and technologies, experience with operational risk capital calculation and ICAAP processes, master's degree, and professional certifications such as PRMIA.
