Binance, the world's largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, is seeking an Operational Risk Advisory Manager to join its Dubai office. This role sits within the risk management function and is responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks across Binance's global trading, finance, and blockchain ecosystem operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing operational risk frameworks and policies aligned with regulatory requirements in UAE and international jurisdictions
- Conducting risk assessments across business units (trading, payments, institutional services, Web3 features)
- Advising senior leadership and business teams on operational risk exposure, control gaps, and remediation strategies
- Monitoring key risk indicators and escalating material risks to executive stakeholders
- Collaborating with compliance, legal, and internal audit teams to ensure integrated risk governance
- Supporting regulatory examinations and demonstrating control effectiveness to authorities
- Building and mentoring a team of risk analysts and advisors
The ideal candidate brings 7+ years of operational risk experience, ideally in financial services, fintech, or regulated exchanges. Strong knowledge of operational risk frameworks (Basel III, ISO 31000), regulatory expectations, and crypto/blockchain fundamentals is essential. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving, high-growth environment with complex, evolving risk landscapes.
