Salary: USD 50,000 - 90,000 / annual
Locus Robotics is seeking an Onsite Support Engineer to serve as the primary technical owner of an autonomous mobile robot (AMR) fleet deployed at a customer warehouse in Las Vegas. You will be responsible for proactive fleet monitoring, system health optimization, hands-on troubleshooting, and repairs to maximize uptime and operational performance.
Key responsibilities include: monitoring robot activity and task execution to ensure throughput targets are met; performing onsite troubleshooting and hardware/software repairs; conducting testing and validation to support product development; analyzing operational data (throughput, UPH, utilization) to generate actionable insights; acting as the liaison between customer operations and internal Locus teams; and helping develop standard operating procedures and best practices for future deployments.
You will work Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM local time, embedded at the customer site. The role requires hands-on technical aptitude, familiarity with warehouse operations and picking workflows, and the ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous early-stage deployment environments. You must be comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, stooping, and reaching frequently as part of daily operations.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related technical field; 1+ years in warehouse operations, robotics, automation, or technical customer-facing roles; hands-on troubleshooting experience or strong technical aptitude; strong analytical and data interpretation skills; ability to influence cross-functionally without direct authority; and excellent English communication skills. Self-motivation, ownership, and adaptability are essential.
