Remote is a global employment platform that enables businesses to recruit, pay, and manage international teams compliantly. This Onboarding Operations Specialist role sits within the EOR Operations team and reports to the Manager of Onboarding Operations.
You will own the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle for new employees, managing compliance, documentation verification, and employment package preparation. Key responsibilities include leading the onboarding journey with a focus on seamless documentation, taking charge of the entire employee lifecycle while addressing queries, and collaborating cross-functionally with Mobility, Benefits, Lifecycle, and Payroll teams to deliver smooth experiences for clients and their employees.
You will manage and maintain employee data with strict attention to accuracy, security, and confidentiality compliance. You'll contribute to reporting, audits, and data integrity projects, and drive automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. The role requires continuous improvement mindset—constantly seeking and implementing enhancements to the onboarding experience while anticipating evolving needs.
You bring extensive operations experience with a strong background in people operations, employment, and legal contracting. You are proficient in handling employment contracts and legally binding documents within HR/people management contexts. You thrive in fast-paced, cross-functional environments, ideally with startup or high-growth company experience. You are a true collaborator with strong ownership mentality, exceptional written and spoken English at business level, and keen attention to detail.
You are tech-savvy and adaptable, skilled with collaboration tools (Notion, Slack, Zendesk, Google Workspace) and comfortable with asynchronous remote work. You demonstrate strong automation and AI capabilities with AI fluency. You work autonomously while seamlessly collaborating within international teams, balancing multiple priorities and remaining open to flexible hours to support global needs.
