GitLab is seeking a New Business Account Executive to drive net-new customer acquisition in the Netherlands market. This is a greenfield territory opportunity where you'll own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, targeting high-growth companies and building relationships with C-level and senior technical buyers.
You'll manage your own pipeline through consistent, high-quality outreach across phone, email, social, and creative channels. Your responsibilities include running discovery meetings to uncover business pain, navigating complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and developing strategic territory plans with account segmentation and prioritization. You'll partner closely with Solutions Architecture, Customer Success, and a dedicated SDR pod to orchestrate technical evaluations and proofs of concept.
The role requires applying GitLab's sales methodologies (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message) to qualify pipeline, maintain healthy deal progress, and support accurate forecasting in Salesforce. You'll serve as a trusted partner helping customers adopt GitLab's AI-powered DevSecOps platform and will report to the Director of New Business Sales.
You bring 5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience focused on net-new logo acquisition, with demonstrated success building territories from scratch in greenfield accounts. You're skilled at consultative selling with C-level executives and multi-stakeholder buying groups, comfortable with consumption-based or usage-based business models, and proficient with modern sales tech stacks (Salesforce, Clari, Outreach, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, 6sense). You're organized, able to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously, and thrive in dynamic environments with a focus on continuous learning. Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
