Valar Atomics is building scalable, advanced nuclear power systems to unlock clean, high-temperature energy for industrial applications, hydrogen production, and next-generation manufacturing. The company is deploying its first pilot plant in Orangeville, Utah and is backed by Series A funding. You will serve as the NetSuite ERP Administrator and Finance Systems Engineer, acting as the technical bridge between finance and engineering teams. Your core mission is to design, implement, and maintain the financial systems infrastructure that enables the company to close books reliably, plan accurately, and remain audit-ready as operations scale. Key responsibilities include: - Administer and optimize NetSuite ERP alongside complementary platforms (WMS, MES, FP&A, billing systems) - Partner with Finance, Accounting, Engineering, and IT to translate business requirements into technical solutions - Lead system integrations between financial platforms and enterprise tools (CRM, HRIS, equity management, MES, data warehouses) - Build and maintain data pipelines, automated workflows, and reporting infrastructure for financial planning, closing, and consolidation - Troubleshoot system issues, data integrity problems, and process bottlenecks - Manage system upgrades, patches, and change control with minimal operational disruption - Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit standards, and data security - Create technical documentation including system architecture, data dictionaries, and user guides - Evaluate and recommend new tools or vendors to improve financial system efficiency and scalability - Contribute flexibly to a variety of projects supporting business growth You will succeed if you fluently translate between finance and engineering, design systems for reliability and scale, scope and deliver projects independently, take ownership of data integrity, document thoroughly, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
