Salary: EUR 83,300 - 98,000 / annual
Revolut is seeking a Model Risk Manager to join its Risk function across the fintech platform serving 75+ million customers. In this senior individual contributor role, you will provide oversight and governance of quantitative models used across credit, liquidity, treasury, stress testing, financial crime, and AI/ML domains.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering regular insights to senior management and local risk/compliance committees on material models and their performance
- Identifying and implementing improvements to modelling processes, methodologies, and risk rating frameworks
- Providing recommendations to model developers to ensure adverse outcomes remain within risk appetite
- Embedding model risk management best practices across the full model lifecycle (development, validation, deployment, monitoring)
- Enhancing stakeholder understanding of model assumptions, limitations, and business implications through clear communication
- Defending model validation findings and regulatory positions with senior stakeholders and regulators
You will need 5+ years of hands-on experience validating models in financial services (credit, liquidity, treasury, stress testing, FinCrime, or AI/ML). Strong technical skills in Python and SQL are essential. You must be familiar with model risk management regulations across the EU, UK, and US, and have a proven track record defending validation reports to senior audiences.
Nice-to-have qualifications include banking/financial services background, experience managing model risk findings with regulators, knowledge of AI/ML governance and explainability in financial services, and familiarity with cloud-based model deployment or monitoring solutions.
