Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking a Mission Operations Manager to lead the deployment and operational success of advanced air defense systems. This role sits at the intersection of customer needs, product engineering, and field operations, requiring someone who can orchestrate complex deployments of hardware and software products while maintaining deep customer relationships.
Key responsibilities include: planning and executing field deployments of Anduril's flagship products; training end users and ensuring high operational performance; gathering customer feedback to inform product improvements; managing relationships across engineering, logistics, technical operations, and business development teams; and representing customer mission requirements back to internal product teams.
The role demands a mission-first mindset with deep understanding of national security challenges. You'll work directly with military and allied customers to understand their specific operational needs, then translate those requirements into product improvements and deployment strategies. This is a high-autonomy position where you'll assume significant responsibility quickly, owning customer accounts end-to-end and contributing to proposals, pitches, and technical problem-solving.
You should be comfortable with complex systems (AI, autonomy, sensor fusion, distributed networking), able to communicate technical concepts clearly, and skilled at building trust across internal and external stakeholders. The role requires structured thinking, ownership mentality, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to move fast in a rapidly scaling business line focused on air defense capabilities.
