Anduril Industries is seeking a Mission Operations Engineer to own the Barracuda family of autonomous cruise missiles. This role bridges product, engineering, test, business development, and logistics to drive customer success and system effectiveness in the field. You will become the company expert on Barracuda employment, including the all-up round, launch systems, mission planning, and integration into customer kill chains. A significant portion of your time will be spent in the field partnered with the Test & Evaluation team, executing flight tests, live-fire demonstrations, capability exercises, and customer events. You will own the operational logistics of field activities: site coordination, hardware readiness, operator training, range and safety requirements, and results debriefing. Key responsibilities include: mastering the Barracuda product line and its operational context; planning and executing tests, demonstrations, and customer events; building and delivering operator training; translating customer mission problems into engineering requirements; standing up sustainment and Integrated Product Support models as the system moves from development to production and operations & support contracts; and growing the account through trust-based relationships from operator to executive level. You will represent the operator perspective at design and program reviews, capture how customers actually employ the system, and feed operational insights back into TTPs, training products, and product requirements. As O&S contracts come online, you will own the operational delivery against them. Required: Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related technical field (or equivalent military/operational experience); 4+ years of operational, test, or program experience in military/defense environments; demonstrated ability to learn complex weapon systems end-to-end and explain them credibly to operators and engineers; experience planning and executing field activities (tests, exercises, demonstrations, deployments, live-fire events); strong technical aptitude and comfort working directly with engineers; clear written and verbal communication; ownership mentality and bias toward action; effectiveness in austere and ambiguous environments; ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally; eligibility to obtain and maintain active U.S. Secret clearance with Top Secret access capability; U.S. Person status due to export-controlled information access.
