You will own the quality, consistency, and throughput of part templating across the Mission Control team in a hybrid individual-contributor and team-lead role. This is a hands-on position where you'll balance direct templating work with establishing team standards, managing schedules, and onboarding new members.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for part templating standards, workflows, and best practices
- Monitoring team output for consistency through spot-checks and coaching to eliminate process drift
- Building and managing the part templating schedule, balancing team capacity against shifting customer and production deadlines
- Distributing daily and weekly assignments and reprioritizing work as business needs evolve
- Onboarding and training new Mission Control team members on tools, workflows, and quality expectations
- Evaluating new hire work during ramp-up and providing structured feedback
- Balancing hands-on execution with operational leadership and process refinement
You bring prior experience in part templating, robotic weld programming, CAD/CAM operations, or a closely related manufacturing/robotics discipline. You are documentation-focused with high attention to detail, highly organized with strong schedule and workflow management skills, a patient mentor with empathetic communication, and comfortable operating in a dual role delivering individual output while leading the broader team.
