Datadog is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the mid-market sales team in Bangalore. In this hybrid role, you will partner with the sales team to articulate Datadog's value proposition and strategy to customers, delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients. You will support technical evaluations and proofs of concept, help clients onboard the product, and assist when they encounter roadblocks.
You will have a direct line of communication with the product team to collaborate on feature requests and serve as a brand ambassador. The role involves thinking creatively about technical challenges throughout the pre-sales lifecycle and continually learning new technologies to build competitive knowledge and credibility. You may travel up to 25% of the time.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or related roles with DevOps/SRE or Platform Engineering background
- Knowledgeable and experienced with DevOps monitoring or architecture tools
- Comfortable and confident delivering technical presentations and demos to external customers or internal teams
- Experience in systems administration (Windows or Linux)
- Ability to think creatively about a wide variety of technical challenges
- Willing to travel up to 25% of the time
