Datadog is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive to drive net-new customer acquisition targeting organizations with 1,000–5,000 employees. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting through closing, managing complex negotiations and technical demonstrations. Your focus will be on identifying robust business drivers, developing deep customer understanding, and strategically engaging Chief Technology Officers, Engineering/IT Leaders, and technical end users (SRE, DevOps, DevSecOps). You'll multi-thread across departments in large organizations, collaborate with Sales Development Representatives, partners, and marketing teams, and leverage modern sales tools like Sales Navigator and Demandbase to identify real-time signals and research opportunities.
The role requires regular travel to client sites within your region and beyond, using various transportation modes as needed. You'll follow a well-defined sales methodology and work within Datadog's hybrid culture that emphasizes office collaboration while supporting work-life harmony.
