Wiz is a fast-growing cloud and AI security platform trusted by over 65% of the Fortune 100 to scan and secure over 230 billion files daily. The company recently became powered by Google, integrating Google's Threat Intelligence and Security Operations into its platform.
In this role, you will report to the Regional Sales Director and work as part of the UK public sector sales team, focusing on securing cloud environments for Local Authorities, Higher Education, and Blue Light services (NHS, emergency services).
Key responsibilities include:
• Sector Expertise: Develop deep knowledge of Wiz's cloud security solutions and their specific value propositions for UK public sector organizations, becoming a trusted advisor to CISO and CDIO-level executives.
• Strategic Sales: Build and close deals with public sector organizations, consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly sales quotas. Navigate complex procurement frameworks including G-Cloud, Data and Outcomes (DOS), and Small Business Services (SBS).
• Stakeholder Management: Manage multi-stakeholder decision-making units within public bodies, demonstrating ability to shift from high-level policy discussions to practical security implementation details.
• Ecosystem Alignment: Work with Wiz's partner ecosystem and specialized Public Sector Systems Integrators and Resellers to expand market opportunities.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management, accounting for the unique fiscal year-end cycles of public bodies (March year-end).
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Build effective relationships with internal teams to ensure strategy alignment and support digital transformation initiatives in community and patient-facing services.
Required qualifications:
• Minimum 3 years selling enterprise cloud or security solutions, with demonstrated focus on UK Local Government, Healthcare (ICS/ICB), or Education sectors.
• Deep familiarity with UK public sector procurement routes and ability to navigate complex buying processes.
• Knowledge of relevant compliance standards such as Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) for healthcare or Cyber Essentials Plus.
• Consultative sales approach that positions you as a partner in digital transformation rather than a vendor.
• Ability to manage longer, complex sales cycles while maintaining momentum in a hypergrowth environment.
• Legal right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship.
