The platform consolidates marketing work—research, briefs, content, campaigns, reporting—in one place, powered by AI agents that automate tasks and improve continuously based on 2B+ real user prompts.
As an iOS Engineer, you will build and own the native mobile experience that brings Profound's AI Marketer to customers' pockets. This is a foundational role where you will set the technical direction for iOS from the ground up.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, build, and ship new features for the native iOS app end-to-end
- Establish architecture, tooling, and engineering standards for the iOS codebase
- Build fast, reliable interfaces for real-time data, dashboards, and reporting on mobile
- Partner with backend engineers to design APIs optimized for mobile use cases
- Work closely with design to translate product requirements into polished, native experiences
- Own app performance, stability, and release quality (crash rates, load times)
- Implement push notifications, background refresh, and native platform capabilities
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and App Store releases
- Write clean, well-tested, maintainable Swift code
- Collaborate with product and customers to identify high-impact mobile experiences
- Stay current with Apple platform changes and adopt new APIs where valuable
- Mentor future iOS hires as the team grows
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience building and shipping native iOS applications
- Strong proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI; solid knowledge of UIKit
- Experience with iOS app architecture patterns, including state management and navigation
- Comfort with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous networking
- Experience shipping apps through the App Store (review, TestFlight, release processes)
- Familiarity with Apple's Human Interface Guidelines and strong product craft sense
- Experience with performance profiling and debugging tools like Instruments
- Comfort in fast-moving startup environments with shifting priorities
- Strong ownership mentality from architecture decisions to shipped features
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
