Coram AI is building a cloud-native video security platform powered by computer vision and AI. The platform helps businesses detect threats in real time, search video using natural language, and gain multi-site visibility—transforming a $50B+ legacy industry with cutting-edge multimodal LLMs and computer vision technology.
As a Member of Technical Staff, Full Stack, you will own end-to-end development across the entire stack. You'll build and maintain backend services that ingest, process, and serve video and sensor data at scale using Golang, Python, or C++. You'll ship AI-native features including natural-language video search, real-time detections, and agentic workflows built on multimodal LLMs and computer vision models. On the frontend, you'll implement user-facing interfaces in TypeScript and React, working closely with product teams. You'll design scalable APIs and systems that interface with ML pipelines and edge device fleets, make infrastructure and architecture decisions from the ground up, and tackle distributed systems, real-time processing, and high-availability challenges.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience
- Strong experience with Golang, Python, or C++
- Experience with modern frontend stacks: TypeScript, React (react-query, Tailwind)
- Experience designing and building scalable backend systems and APIs
- Comfort with distributed systems, containers, and cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes on AWS, Pulumi for IaC)
- Fluency with AI-assisted development and opinions on where it works well
- Previous startup experience building systems from scratch or scale-up experience
- Strong understanding of system performance, reliability, and clean architecture
- Resilience in challenging, fast-paced environments
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work in an onsite environment
