Salary: USD 175,000 - 250,000 / annual
8090 Solutions is scaling its sales team to capture large market opportunities in enterprise and public sector software modernization. This role is a Member of GTM Staff focused on owning end-to-end complex enterprise deal cycles in the public sector business, with a path to Senior Member of GTM Staff and potential leadership of the business segment.
The company works with federal and state government agencies to modernize legacy systems, reduce costs, and drive mission efficiencies. Notable work includes partnerships with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS).
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage complete deal cycles from prospecting through discovery, business case creation, product requirements documentation, scoping, negotiations, and contract execution
- Build relationships across government agencies and develop high-quality business cases articulating problems and ROI opportunities
- Conduct technical discovery with cross-functional teams (TPMs, Forward Deployed Engineers, customer teams) to assess workflows, cost structures, data maturity, and AI readiness
- Execute complex, seven-figure TCV deals in compressed timelines
- Drive multi-threaded executive engagement across agency leadership, functional areas, Contracting Officers Representatives (CORs), IT, Transformation, and Finance teams
- Develop tools and agents that enhance sales efficiency and enable high per-employee productivity
- Evangelize 8090 through government workshops, events, and analyst engagement
This role requires high agency, near-complete autonomy, and substantial revenue generation responsibility. Success requires a founder-like mindset and the ability to operate without extensive playbooks or guidance.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of public sector sales experience selling large-scale SaaS, data, or AI transformation programs
- Proven track record closing seven-figure TCV deals with complex, multi-stakeholder buying processes
- Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives and punch above your weight
- Strong deal-craft instincts including pricing conversations, negotiation, and creative deal structures
- Working fluency in AI/LLM concepts and software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Founder-like mindset: high bias for action, persistence, grit, comfort with ambiguity, and high agency
- Full-stack sales orientation with desire to build and roll up sleeves on details
