Salary: USD 125,000 - 201,250 / annual

Johnson & Johnson's Shockwave Medical division is seeking a Medical Education Manager (Peripheral) to develop and execute medical education and physician relations activities. This is a high-visibility, customer-facing role with global responsibility across all lines of therapy, reporting to the Director of Medical Education. The role focuses on educating and training healthcare professionals on Shockwave Medical therapies, particularly in the treatment of calcified cardiovascular disease using Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL). You will lead efforts to coach physicians in developing and delivering scientific communications and peer-to-peer training, and serve as a core resource for physician relationship management. Key responsibilities include: - Developing, planning, and executing Shockwave Medical-managed HCP programs, including identifying educational needs and designing programs that meet customer and business objectives - Building and maintaining key relationships with healthcare professionals in interventional cardiology, vascular surgery, interventional radiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and allied healthcare disciplines - Managing event execution, speaker contracting, compliance standards, curriculum approval, and program documentation - Developing educational objectives and curricula for both CME and non-CME accredited content - Overseeing symposia execution (virtual and at-conference), including agenda design, content development, and physician speaker coaching - Facilitating curriculum preparation, presentation materials development, and speaker coaching for podium presentations - Contributing to speaker bureau operations, slide deck maintenance, and compliance approvals - Coordinating with meeting planners on logistical execution - Advising the field organization on HCP learning needs and developing educational solutions - Partnering with medical societies and fellowship programs - Maintaining current knowledge of therapies, scientific literature, and products - Managing annual budgets and contributing to the Needs Assessment Process - Ensuring compliance with Shockwave Medical HCP education procedures and guidelines The position is fully remote and can be based anywhere in the US. Travel up to 40% is required. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a related field (advanced degree preferred) - 6+ years of experience in education, training, sales, or marketing in the med-tech space - Prior experience in the cardiovascular space is highly preferred - Highly organized with strong project management skills, attention to detail, and accuracy - Ability to work in fast-paced environments while managing multiple priorities - Excellent critical thinking, influencing, and negotiation skills - Ability to operate in cross-functional teams and independently with adaptability to changing requirements - Demonstrated decision-making capability and accountability - Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills across all management levels - Proficiency in PowerPoint - Prior experience with CVENT and/or Salesforce is a plus - Required skills: Digital Learning, Learning Tools, Product Demonstrations, Technical Support - Preferred skills: Brand Marketing, Business Savvy, Channel Partner Enablement, Coaching, Communication, Learning Materials Development, Medical Affairs, Medical Communications, Mobile Learning, Organizing, Partner Onboarding, Problem Solving, Program Management, Sales Presentations, Technical Credibility, Training Delivery Methods, Training People
