Chamber Cardio is rebuilding the cardiology system by partnering with independent cardiologists to lead population health efforts in their communities. The company provides technology, data, and operational tools that enable better patient outcomes through a model combining clinical expertise, thoughtful design, and modern operating platforms.
As Medical Director, you will build and scale Chamber's care programs while serving as the company's physician leader for clinical quality and documentation integrity. This is a director-level role that bridges clinical medicine, product strategy, and operational execution.
Key responsibilities include: leading clinical programs with evidence-based protocols and continuous improvement; owning Stars/HEDIS clinical strategy and risk coding/documentation integrity initiatives; partnering with Product and Engineering teams to design AI-enabled clinical tools and workflows; defining and monitoring outcomes metrics (utilization, medication adherence, quality); and collaborating cross-functionally with Operations and Network teams to translate strategy into execution.
You will serve as Chamber's clinical voice on quality and risk performance, communicate the company's value to payers and providers, and contribute to internal leadership discussions on care design and program expansion. In your first 90 days, you'll assess current quality performance, support ongoing programs, develop new program pipelines, and collaborate on launching AI-enabled clinical workflows.
Required qualifications: MD or DO in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, or related specialty; 3+ years of clinical leadership or value-based care experience; demonstrated success leading interdisciplinary clinical teams; strong understanding of payer-provider alignment, outcomes measurement, and risk-based models; and proven ability to design and implement new clinical programs or technology-enabled workflows. Experience with quality programs and clinical documentation integrity is strongly preferred.
This role requires legal authorization to work in the US; visa sponsorship is not available. Periodic travel to practice sites or Chamber offices may be required.
