Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Marketing Trade Show Manager to lead U.S. trade show strategy, planning, and execution in support of growing international pursuits. This role bridges marketing strategy with operational excellence, requiring someone who thrives in engaging executives, coordinating VIP engagements, and translating high-level strategy into tangible activations.
Key responsibilities include defining trade show strategy and objectives across events while activating various business lines and stakeholders. You will coordinate VIP visits, media interviews, and speaking engagements at international events, managing executive schedules and messaging for business-critical engagements. Collaboration with product, sales, business development, and marketing teams will be essential to develop compelling event content, demos, presentations, and messaging tailored to regional and cultural nuances.
On the operational side, you will coordinate all logistical elements for U.S. events, including venue selection, booth design and construction, equipment rental, and on-site services. You'll lead on-site execution of trade shows, serving as the primary point of contact for event organizers, vendors, and internal staff, proactively addressing issues under pressure. Budget management is critical—you will manage event budgets from forecasting through reconciliation and conduct post-event analysis including lead quality, attendee feedback, media coverage, and ROI determination.
The ideal candidate has 4+ years of events marketing experience, ideally within defense. You are an excellent communicator with strong writing skills, capable of creating compelling narratives and explaining technical concepts. You are a self-starter who can translate strategy into concrete execution plans, with inherent curiosity about military operations and applications. You are resourceful, mission-driven, humble, and confident in delivering exceptional results. Domestic travel up to 50% is required. Must be a U.S. Person due to access to export-controlled information.
