Salary: USD 102,100 - 194,000 / annual
Boston Scientific seeks a Marketing Strategy & Analysis Manager to drive high-impact marketing and business strategy for the Deep Brain Stimulation, Interventional Spine, and Pain Stimulation franchises. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration, supporting critical business decisions through rigorous market research and competitive intelligence.
You will develop relationships with franchise teams, R&D, clinical, outcomes, business development, and sales stakeholders to identify market trends, diagnose customer needs, and predict competitive dynamics. Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting market and product opportunity assessments, strategy formulation, and valuation for new products, potential acquisitions, and growth opportunities
• Developing franchise-level marketing and business strategies that maximize competitive advantage
• Utilizing secondary research, primary qualitative and quantitative research techniques to derive market and customer insights
• Creating compelling annual strategic planning content, storylining for operating plans, and bi-annual Investor Day materials
• Managing structured, fact-based approaches to strategy development and business planning
• Overseeing vendor-conducted market analysis and research to answer senior management questions
• Serving as project lead, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex project schedules and milestones
• Building Marketing Strategy and Analysis competency within franchises and implementing strategy processes
• Ensuring global consistency and optimal research support processes
• Creating and managing revenue models and compelling PowerPoint presentations
This is a hybrid role requiring presence in the local office at least three days per week. Travel up to 10% is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree plus minimum 3 years of professional experience
• Minimum 2 years' experience in consulting, business strategy/analytics, product marketing, or market research in healthcare or medical device industry
• Strong financial analytical and quantitative skills
• Demonstrated experience applying AI technologies to solve complex technical and business challenges in medical device industry
• Ability to create and manage revenue models in Excel
• Ability to independently create compelling PowerPoint documents
• Ability to travel up to 10%
PREFERRED:
• Advanced degree (MBA, MD, or PhD)
• Tableau skills and knowledge
• Neuromodulation device experience
